Barefoot Beauty: A Dream Boudoir Session on the Beaches of Fiji

You know you truly love your job when you travel halfway across the world… and one of the first things you dream of doing is a boudoir session on the beach. ✨

During my recent trip to Fiji, I knew I wanted to bring a piece of what I do at HER Studio into the tropical paradise — capturing raw, radiant beauty in the most breathtaking natural setting. But this wasn’t just any session. My heart was set on photographing someone local, someone whose story and energy matched the vibrant magic of the island.

I reached out to a local makeup artist in Fiji (who was absolutely wonderful), and she helped connect me with a beautiful woman who was excited to model for this dreamy shoot. They drove three hours to meet me at the Intercontinental Resort, and the moment we met, I knew it was going to be incredible.

The shoot was everything I envisioned and more — crystal-clear water, golden sand, and the kind of natural light that photographers dream of. But beyond the aesthetics, it was the feeling. Watching this gorgeous local woman step into her power, surrounded by the ocean and sky, reminded me why I do this.

Boudoir is about confidence. Freedom. Owning your story in any setting — whether it’s a luxury studio or the shores of Fiji.

We captured soft, sultry, powerful moments that I’ll never forget. This was more than a bucket-list shoot… it was a celebration of femininity, connection, and the universal beauty we all carry within.
