As a Washington Boudoir photographer serving Kitsap County and beyond, I get to work with women at all stages of life. Some come to reclaim their confidence. Some to celebrate milestones. This session was something even more special.
A few weeks ago, I received a message from a local husband who was searching for a way to help his wife see herself the way he sees her. They’ve been together for 20 years—high school sweethearts with three kids. In his words:
"She’s absolutely beautiful. She’s been working on herself to get to where she feels comfortable and confident. I have loved every version of her body… but after 20 years, she’s basically just 'expecting' that. I want her to see herself how I see her and feel confident. This is for her—not for me."
This wasn’t about lingerie. This wasn’t about seduction.

When she arrived at my private Port Orchard Boudoir Studio, she was open, a little nervous (which is completely normal!), and so incredibly radiant. We created a space where she could choose how bold or soft she wanted to be.
There were Soft portraits. Playful moments. Fierce, radiant, Spicy ones. Every single image captured a woman stepping into her power—right here in Kitsap County.
The Most Emotional Part: Her Reveal
She returned to the studio with her husband to view her gallery. As the images played across the screen, she kept saying softly, "I can’t believe that’s me." Again and again—half in disbelief, half in awe.
And then he said something simple, quiet, and unforgettable:
“That’s what I get to see all the time.”
He couldn’t even pick a favorite. He loved every single photo. And in that moment—she finally saw it too.
